Vee Dub Parts Unlimited Open House!
Friday afternoon's get-together in Huntington Beach for free food, drinks, and good times!

It actually starts several days earlier, with the crew of Vee-Dub Parts Unlimited in Huntingon Beach, California starting the prep for their annual VW Classic Weekend open house. The brooms and mops come out and, by Friday morning the shop is as clean as a peeny that just went through the washer - well, almost! By all accounts, this years' Vee-Dub Part's Open House was the biggest ever, with their parking lot jammed-packed by noon with everything from clean street lookers to buggies and buses.

Of course, part of the draw is the opportunity to simply hang out with other enthusiasts as they arrive in town for the upcoming VW Classic on Sunday, but another big attraction that's become somewhat of a tradition is the free lunchroom provided by the crew of CB Performance. These guys come down from Farmersville to fire up the barby for the day, adn they're not just cookin' hot dogs, we're talking custom fabbed brats with all the trimming, fired on the spot by CB's Rick Tomlinson and Kevin Lewis. Besides the great drinks of soda and water, Vee-Dub proprietor Greg Moddelmog also holds a pre-Classic sale inside his show-room, so enthusiasts can pick up any part they need for the weekend. Definitely a great way to get things warmed up before heading to Nick's or Lenny's for the next big event of the weekend. Thanks guys!
