The Weber IDF series will fit comfortably under the engine deck lid of VW bugs, vans, and square backs. Smaller 1600cc and 1776cc engines will benefit from the increased port velocity and enhanced engine torque produced by Weber 40 IDF carburetors. Our top quality 356 aluminum alloy manifolds, air filter hardware and Cross Bar Linkage provide exact throttle control and maintain adjustments between service points. Dual 48 IDF Weber Kits - Only serious engine builders need apply! Dual 48 IDF's are a little rough for street use but come out of the gate like a rocket. If your looking for mid-range and upper end power, Dual 48 IDF's should be on your shopping list. They work best on engines with stroker cranks and big valves. The installation and tuning of a set of Dual 48's is simplified by the use of our superb Crossbar Linkage.
