Weber Carbs - Single IDF Kits

Now available in two exciting manifold designs, Low Profile and Tall Ram. The Low Profile Center Section Manifold is manufactured from 356 aluminum and features full ascent heat risers to provide cold weather carburetor heat. The low height provides "Under the Deck" installation of 40, 44, and 48mm IDF Carbs. CB's exclusive cable pull linkage is included in each kit. Tall Ram intake manifolds are manufactured from a heavy steel base plate and mandrel bent steel tubing. Heat risers are included to aid in mounting and emulsion control. Each manifold assembly is chrome plated. The Tall Ram center section manifold is just the ticket for dune buggies and open bodied race cars where the deck lid interference in not a problem. Tall Ram Weber Kits are also supplied with CB's easy to install sheathed cable pull linkage.

Fits under the deck of a VW Sedan to give your engine the breathing space needed for power and custom looks. The aluminum Low Profile Manifold is provided with heat risers to help control manifold frosting in cold weather. It's easy to install and bolts directly to the engine case for maximum support. CB's original sheathed cable pull linkage is included in each kit to provide smooth crisp throttle action. You can choose from 40, 44, or 48mm Weber IDF Carburetors. Each size fits under the engine deck lid without using hood stand offs. Low Profile Single kits can also be used on open framed off road cars where the full benefit of the built in heat risers can be experienced. Each Low Profile Single IDF kit is shipped complete with the IDF of your choice, aluminum manifold, air filter and sheathed cable pull linkage.

This is the rough country package. Double wrap tall air fillers, vented float bowl and velocity stacks feed the air/fuel charge to the Low Profile Intake System. Full ascent heat risers reduce the possibility of manifold icing and full power is maintained throughout the performance range. Choose from 40, 44, or 48mm Weber IDF's, the intake ports of the aluminum manifold are large enough to generate the flow needed to climb hills and accelerate around corners. CB Sheathed Cable Pull Linkage is supplied in each kit to give you fast, positive throttle control.

The Tall Ram Style Manifold is a long time favorite of Baja Bug engine builders. The chrome plated intake manifold is economical to manufacture and gives a high horsepower custom look to an engine. The weld on heat riser tubes allow for a limited amount of heat exchange but do provide convenient installation mounts. The carburetor mounting plate is bored to fit up to 44mm carburetors. The use of larger 48mm IDF Webers on this manifold is not recommended.

Each kit is shipped complete with CB's cable pull linkage, air filter, manifold and Weber of of your choice. Exact carburetor jetting is left up to the engine tuner.

Tall Ram Style Manifolds position the carburetor in an elevated position in the center of the engine. This design concept has long been accepted and preferred by many off-road enthusiasts. The addition of an MX Weber, tall double wrap air filler and Cable Pull linkage adds the mechanical look needed to excite any off-road aficionado. The use of a 40mm MX is recommended on engines up to 1850cc. Larger engines will benefit from a higher flowing 44mm MX carburetor. Exact carburetor jetting is left up to the engine tuner.
