Not sure of the Horsepower output, but at 18 lbs. of boost, all you can di is hold it in the road! I've never been beat from red light to red light (vets old and new, hot rods and street cars) - bring em on! Deserter Buggy

Name: Mike Ragonese
Location:
Hopedale, MA

I just got my Deserter mid-engine street buggy completed. Pat did the turbo motor and I built the rest of the entire car from the ground up including constructing the mid-engine frame, the aluminum work, and bringing the 'glass body, that was total junk, back to life.

I did all of the bodywork but had a pro shoot the Ferrari Rosso Corsa Red paint. Rancho did the tranny. The car is a screamer. I started buying parts from Claudes Buggies back around the early 70s.

If you like what you see you can check out the entire build at mikeragonese.shutterfly.com.
I think you'll like it.
