Dropped Spindle Ball Joint Disc Brake Kit with Porsche Alloy Lug Pattern. Now you can "bolt-on" a lower center of gravity, improved handling, and powerful fade resistant braking.

All CB Drop Spindles are Made in the USA and CNC Machined from all-new castings with chromoly spindles - They are the STRONGEST aftermarket spindle available anywhere, including welded ones! Steering geometry and ride quality are unaffected by the installation of our dropped spindles. The use of stock length shocks is also retained for a better ride. Our spindles are narrower than welded spindles! Designed for use with 50 and 60 series tires, and featuring a 2 1/2" drop and chromoly axles.

Kits include NEW Dropped Spindles, Rotors, Calipers and mounting hardware. We recommend a #4290 Bearing & Seal Installation Kit, which can be added-on using the drop-down menu above.

Install Dropped Spindles and Disc Brakes the easy way "The CB Way!", with engineered parts from CB Performance. Installation is easy and special tools are NOT required. Just bolt em' on!

INSTALLATION NOTES
  1. Rotors use 14mm threads, AND increases tire offset by 3/8" on either side
    If needed, CB recommends the use of a Narrowed Front Beam to reduce tire offset.

Disc Brake Master Cylinders are also available.



NOTE: Vehicles with four wheel disc brakes using a 67-later master cylinder are recommended to install a 4 lb. Residual Pressure Valve.

'66-67 requires the use of 1968-later inner wheel bearings (#311-405-625b).

'66-68 requires the use of 1969-later Tie Rod Ends (#4082, #4083).

Easy installation. Went with steel braided brake hoses. I purchased and installed the studs and "Lock Tight" from CB as well. No special tools required. No cutting/welding/trimming/drilling required. Greatly improved stopping power. Have 4,000 miles with this kit on my Daily driver (about 250 miles a week to and from work). I can lock up the Tires easily if i want to (especially my narrow 145's). Nice smooth/even braking. No pulling to one side or lumpy braking. Stops like a new car. I Love that i don't have to adjust the brakes either. $400 very well spent. I did the back also. -Installed on a 1966 vw beetle, 2 inch narrowed adjustable beam, sway bar, tie rods, new steering box. Handles like a new car (very tight/no steering wheel "Play")
