Alternator / Generator Stand — VW 040-101-211-1 (NOS Genuine VW - Brazil)

Genuine VW of Brazil (NOS) alternator / generator stand designed for upright air-cooled VW engines. Provides the factory mount for the alternator in the 12-volt system and is built to original VW dimensions and castings for correct alignment and drive belt geometry.

  • VW Type 1 & 2 (Beetle/Sedan/Ghia/Bus) w/ upright engines and 12-Volt conversions

Features
  • Maintains correct belt line and tension geometry for alternator / generator on upright engine with standard oil fill tube / filler tower
  • Direct replacement for original VW stand — ideal for restoration or OE-correct rebuilds

  • VW # / Cross-Ref: 040-101-211-1. Service catalogs may list 113-101-211G / 113-101-211B.
  • Because this is a NOS Genuine VW stand: minor surface patina or casting marks may be present from age/storage. Condition does not affect fitment or function.
