CB Performance is CRANKIN' IT UP with the "Super 1600" Forged Chromoly Crankshaft. Specifically offered for those who desire to build their engine to a true 1600cc.

Crafted from a premium 4140 Chromoly Steel forging, a strong and durable alloy known for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio and resistance to wear and fatigue. Progressive dies are used in the forging process to assure a grain flow that follows the shape of the finished crankshaft.

Engineered with cutting-edge CNC machining, each crankshaft undergoes micro-polishing and nitriding to ensure a smooth, hardened surface that resists wear and ensures long-lasting performance. Counterweighted for reduced oil foaming, vibration and crank flex, it provides smoother operation and enhanced engine longevity, even at high RPMs. Available in a range of stroke lengths including 69mm, 69.5mm and popular stroker options like 74mm and 76mm—this crankshaft lets you customize your displacement for maximum torque and horsepower. Features standard VW rod journals.

Additional features include shot peening for improved fatigue resistance, magnafluxing to guarantee flaw-free construction, and pre-installed flywheel dowel pins for hassle-free assembly. Upgrade today and experience the perfect blend of strength, reliability, and power!

NOTE: CBP Crankshafts are factory balanced, but once a flywheel and clutch pressure plate are installed, the entire assembly should be re-balanced prior to installation. Ask your salesperson for additional information and services.
