Description

Restore proper brake shoe operation when servicing the rear drum brakes on your 1964-1970 VW Type-2 Bus. This complete rear brake hardware and spring kit replaces the aging spring and retaining hardware used to secure and return the brake shoes.

Brake springs are often reused during a brake job, but years of heat, corrosion and repeated cycling can reduce their tension. Replacing the hardware when installing or servicing rear brake shoes helps ensure the shoes remain properly positioned and retract as intended.
