Description

Heater Box Control Cable – 111-711-717D – Beetle & Ghia 1973-on (no Super Beetle)

This heater box control cable connects the heater control knob located next to the shifter to the engine heater boxes. The cable runs through the chassis heater cable guide tube and operates the heat exchanger control levers, allowing the driver to regulate warm air flow into the passenger compartment.

Manufactured as a quality reproduction replacement, this cable restores proper heater box operation when the original cable becomes kinked, rusted, or seized inside the guide tube. Proper heater cable operation ensures smooth control movement and full heater box travel.

Fitment
  • Type 1 Beetle / Ghia – 1973-on (no Super Beetle)
Features
  • Designed for vehicles without electric/fresh-air fan
  • Quality reproduction heater box control cable
  • Approx. 1350mm overall length
  • Connects heater control knob to heat exchanger
  • Restores smooth heater operation
