Description

The Pro-Series Straight Cut Adjustable Cam Gear Set was designed for the serious engine builder. Four indexed bolt patterns allow precise camshaft timing adjustment during assembly, with available settings of 4° advanced, 2° advanced, straight up, or 2° retarded.

Timing Adjustment Options

Bolt Pattern "A" – 4° advanced
Bolt Pattern "B" – 2° retarded
Bolt Pattern "C" – Straight up (0°)
Bolt Pattern "D" – 2° advanced

Additionally, the crank gear of the Pro-Series Gear Set has a built-in "Racer Spacer" that eliminates the weak factory spacer that is known to fail at high RPM.

Manufactured from ASTM-5120 steel and case hardened to 32 HRC, the Pro-Series Gear Set is designed to handle the extreme valve spring pressures used in today's race engines. Includes 3 Grade #8 bolts.

This kit no longer includes thread lock
CBP recommends using Red Threadlocker, sold separately
Torque bolts to 30 ft-lbs
