Cylinder Cover Heat Deflectors provide a smooth flow of air around the rear of number 2 and number 4 cylinders for better cooling and push the heated air downward and away from the engine. Engines running without heat deflectors will often overheat the rear cylinders.

NOTE: While we make every effort to source the highest quality aftermarket engine tin available, some pieces may require additional trimming, fitting, or finishing to achieve proper alignment. Original VW engine tin offers the best factory fit and finish, so please keep this in mind before purchasing. If you're building a show car or require exact OEM-quality fitment, consider using genuine VW tin when possible.
