Built with an integrated front bearing, these starters eliminate the need for the fragile OE bronze bushing in the transmission housing. That means no more worrying about worn bushings causing sluggish starts or premature starter failure.

Designed to outlast and outperform standard VW units, Gear Drive Starters spin up quickly, run quieter, and allow the use of a smaller, lightweight battery. They’re especially valuable in harsh off-road conditions, where dust and dirt can quickly destroy a stock bushing.
