Original Genuine VW Rear Axle Tube End Castings for Long Swing Axle applications. These outer bearing housings mount at the end of the axle tube and support the rear wheel bearing, brake backing plate, and seal / retainer components. This pair includes left and right castings marked 311-501-169B and 311-501-170B.

These castings are commonly associated with long swing axle configurations and are a good choice for restoration, repair, or replacement of damaged original housings. Genuine VW castings remain the preferred option when correct fit, factory construction, and original part markings matter.
