Fast Fab Radio Delete Plate

Restore a clean, factory-style appearance to the dash of your classic Beetle when a radio is not being used. This Fast Fab Radio Delete Plate covers the original radio opening, eliminating the unfinished look of an empty or previously removed radio.

Ideal for restorations, radio-delete cars, or custom builds where the stereo has been relocated or omitted. The plate is supplied in gray primer and can be painted to match or complement your dash.

Three mounting holes are provided for installation of the original-style chrome dash trim across the face of the delete plate. If the chrome trim will not be used, these holes should be filled and finished prior to final paint for a smooth, clean appearance.

Notes:

Installs from behind the dash using the original factory retaining tabs—no separate radio mounting hardware is required. The original radio opening and retaining tabs must be intact.
Three holes in the face of the plate accommodate the clips for the original-style chrome dash trim (trim and clips not included).
If the chrome trim will not be used, fill and finish these holes prior to final paint.
