JAMAR JS3 Super Shifter - 4 Speed w/ Reverse Lockout

The JAMAR JS3 Super Shifter is a heavy-duty shifter designed for sand rails, dune buggies, off-road vehicles and custom VW transaxle installations. It combines familiar VW-style 4-speed shift operation with several performance related features.

The JS3 features a dark gray / black hammertone powder-coated housing and a standard VW-style 4-speed H-pattern with reduced/ short-throw shifting. A separate push-button reverse lockout helps prevent accidental engagement of reverse.

It is commonly used with VW Type-1 and Type-2 transaxles in custom and off-road applications, with final compatibility determined by the specific transmission, mounting arrangement and shift-linkage configuration. For custom installations, our CB# 6233 - JAMAR Super Shifter Rod Kit provides the companion shift rod and linkage components for connecting the JS3 to the transaxle.

Pro Tip: JAMAR also offers additional rod lengths and individual linkage components for more specialized installations.
