Each axle is hand polished and lapped to a 4 Max RMS finish for optimized performance and longevity. The root radius is 0.3mm with a J-Thread to handle the rigors of drag racing. The black oxide finish makes these axles really pop while also protecting them from rust and corrosion.

CMI Racing Axles are currently available in the stock swing axle length of 26 11/16" to fit '61-66 sedans. Each set comes complete with (2) 17-4 stainless steel thrust washers (#7592), heat-treated to H900, and (2) 4340 nickel-plated flanged castle nuts (#7591), heat-treated to 54-56 HRC for maximum durability.
