CB Performance Pro-Series Adjustable Push Rod Tubes were designed to solve several of the compromises commonly found with conventional adjustable push rod tubes. Their unique snap-ring adjustment system, pre-loaded spring design and use of stock-style silicone push rod tube seals provide a clean, reliable solution for stock-width and custom-width Type 1 engines.

Instead of using threaded adjusters or jam nuts, the Pro-Series design allows tube length to be preset by simply repositioning a snap ring in one of the machined adjustment grooves. Adjustment is available in 1/4" increments, covering engines from 1/2" narrower than stock to 3/4" wider than stock.

Once installed, the pre-loaded spring maintains consistent sealing pressure regardless of engine width, including the normal expansion and contraction that occurs as an air-cooled VW engine heats and cools.

Pro-Series tubes use proven stock-style silicone push rod tube seals and feature an oversized 7/8" inside diameter for increased push rod clearance. They accommodate rocker ratios up to 1.5:1, making them an excellent choice for performance street, off-road and competition Type 1 engines.

Another major advantage is serviceability. Pro-Series tubes can be installed or replaced without removing the cylinder heads. Simply remove the rocker assembly and push rod, remove the existing tube and seals, and install the Pro-Series tube according to the supplied instructions.

Choose your desired finish from the option menu above.

Set the snap-ring position for the required engine width before installation.
Adjustment positions cover 1/2" narrower than stock through 3/4" wider than stock in 1/4" increments.
At the -0.500" setting, no snap ring is required.
Apply a light film of oil to the inner tube so the seal can slide freely during assembly.
Install the spring end toward the engine case.
