CB Performance has teamed up with Centerforce Performance Clutches (USA) to deliver a premium street-performance clutch solution for Aircooled VW applications.

The CBP Orange Crush Clutch Kit is a CB Performance exclusive, engineered to provide increased holding capacity while maintaining a light, comfortable pedal feel—something rarely achieved in performance clutch systems. Designed and tested in-house on CB Performance vehicles, this kit delivers smooth engagement with zero chatter and dependable street manners.

A key advantage of this system is Centerforce’s patented ball bearing pressure plate design. Unlike traditional pressure plates that rely on stamped fulcrums or rivet pivot points, this design integrates ball bearings into the diaphragm spring mechanism to significantly reduce internal friction.

This results in smoother mechanical operation, reduced wear, and a noticeably lighter pedal effort—without sacrificing clamping force.

  • Aircooled VW: '71-'79
  • For '67-'70, requires adapter ring (1315)
  • Compatible with 200mm flywheel
