Genuine VW of Mexico (NOS) Rear Axle Nut (113-501-221.1) for swing axle rear suspensions. Manufactured to original VW specifications, this nut secures the rear brake drum and hub assembly to the axle shaft and is designed to withstand the high torque loads required on swing axle applications.

Unlike many reproduction versions, this OE nut is forged steel for strength and durability and features the correct locking profile and factory-style finish as originally supplied by VW.

VW Type 1 (Beetle) – Swing Axle models through 1967
VW Type 2 (Bus) – Swing Axle models 1961–1967
