Designed for Swing Axle VW applications using 24-11/16" rear torsion bars.

Typical applications include early Type-1 Beetle and Karmann Ghia models as well as Swing Axle Type-3 Notchback, Fastback and Squareback models.

Because torsion-bar and rear suspension combinations may have been changed during the life of the vehicle, verify rear suspension type and torsion-bar length before ordering.

The built-in adjuster is intended for convenient fine adjustment of rear ride height and suspension preload. Major ride-height changes should still begin with proper torsion-bar indexing, with the spring plate adjuster used for final tuning.

Rear torsion bars are under substantial spring tension. Installation should be performed using appropriate tools and safe suspension-service procedures.
