Extended trailing arms require the correct axle and CV-joint combination for the transmission and suspension configuration being used. Axle length can vary depending on transmission type, trailing-arm dimensions and drivetrain placement, so always verify the required axle length before ordering drivetrain components.

When installing IRS suspension on a chassis originally equipped with swing axles, CB #4705 Weld-On IRS Control Arm Brackets may also be required. These brackets are specifically intended for IRS conversion work and are not normally required on an original IRS chassis.
