Front Wheel Bearing Thrust Washer — Repro for VW 111-405-661

Reproduction steel thrust washer for the front wheel hub. Installs between the outer wheel bearing and the spindle clamping nut to provide a hard, flat bearing surface and prevent the nut from walking under load.

Fitment

Type 1 (Beetle), Ghia to 1965
Type 2 (Bus) 2WD front spindle 1964–1979 (models that share bearing/spindle arrangement)
Vanagon 2WD 1980–1992 (front wheel bearing application)

Features

Precision stamped and ground face for consistent clamping against the outer bearing.
Keyed inner profile engages spindle groove to prevent rotation.
Direct-fit service part; replace whenever the original washer is nicked, cupped, or grooved.
