Throttle Cable Guide Tube (Bowden Sleeve) — VW 113-721-551

This factory-spec guide tube (Bowden sleeve) is engineered to route the accelerator/throttle cable between the chassis tunnel and the engine fan shroud in classic Volkswagen air-cooled vehicles. The 598 mm long tube protects the cable from heat, debris and abrasion while allowing engine movement without changing throttle cable free-play. It is an essential part for throttle control integrity and smooth pedal feel.

Fitment
Confirmed by VW microfiche for Volkswagen Type 1 (Beetle/Super Beetle) models using the 598 mm accelerator cable guide tube (late 1200/1300/1302/1303 applications). Not interchangeable with Type 181 (Thing), Type 2 (Bus), or Type 3, which use different lengths/routing. If retrofitting outside Type 1, verify routing and overall tube length before installation.
