ICON Forged Piston & Ring Kit – 85.5mm Bore

Manufactured from high-silicon 4032 forged alloy, these pistons offer exceptional wear resistance, minimal thermal expansion, and allow for tight piston-to-wall clearances—ideal for high-performance street and track engines alike. The hard anodized top land and ring grooves enhance durability under high-compression or forced induction conditions, while the M42 skirt coating reduces friction for long-term performance.

Precision-machined to maintain a .002"–.0025" piston-to-cylinder wall clearance and compatible with 1600cc based engine cases (no machining required), this kit is designed for serious performance and tested in the harshest conditions. In fact, it's race-proven on our Class 11 desert race engines, where durability and performance are pushed to the limit!

Each kit includes:
  • 4 balanced forged pistons
  • Complete ring set (1.5 x 1.5 x 4mm)
  • Wrist pins and clips

Fits 69mm / 69.5mm crankshafts. Also available, 94mm Big Bore B Pin (1015) - Proudly made in the USA!

Assembly Notes: Barrel spacers or copper head shims will be needed to dial in deck height. Always verify deck height and valve-to-piston clearance during assembly. Clean all parts and ensure proper ring gap is set before installation.

Recommended Tools: Wrist Pin Tool, Piston Ring Compressor, Ring Gap Alignment Tool.
