The GENUINE Weber 40 IDF (Spain) is truly the mileage champ. 40 IDF carburetors are factory equipped with 28mm venturis that help provide a terrific combination of fuel economy and performance. Smaller 1600cc and 1776cc engines will benefit from the increased port velocity and enhanced engine torque produced by Weber 40 IDF carburetors.

Weber IDF Space-Saver kits fit neatly under the engine deck lid of VW sedans, buses, and square/notch backs. Space-Saver Intake Manifolds reverse the mounting position of the carburetors to orientate the mixture screws inwards. You get a new look for your custom engine and mixture controls are easily accessible for adjustment. Furthermore, most dual intake systems with IDF or DRLA carburetors measure ~34 inches across in total width - Space-Saver Manifolds reduce the total width to ~32 inches*.

Space-Saver Intake Manifolds are available as manifolds only, in manifold linkage kits, or in complete carburetor kits. Complete Space Saver Manifold Kits are shipped with specially coordinated linkage and air filter bases.

IMPORTANT: *Not compatible with stock fan shroud - Requires aftermarket shroud w/ max. 21-7/8" width. CBP offers several compatible 36hp style fan shrouds.
